DevOps needs speed and control at the same time
DevOps brings development and operations together so that valuable changes reach production often and safely. Most teams get the speed from their repositories and pipelines; the control — who approved what, with which evidence — usually ends up in emails, spreadsheets and meeting notes.
DevGob closes that gap: it keeps the plan, the approvals and the evidence of every change on the same record, next to the code and the pipelines your team already runs.
Where DevOps usually breaks down
- Approvals happen in chat or email and cannot be traced later.
- Nobody can say which requirement a production change came from.
- Test and installation evidence lives in personal folders.
- Rollbacks are fixed in a hurry and never recorded as defects.
- Audits turn into weeks of collecting screenshots.
What DevGob gives a DevOps team
- Backlog, boards, sprints and capacity to plan the work.
- An eleven-phase deployment flow with Pre and Production committee gates.
- GitHub branches, pull requests, reviews and CI runs on each work item.
- Test results and install evidence per environment.
- An append-only audit log and a signed evidence package per change.
- Metrics: deployment success rate, cycle time and on-time delivery.
It works with the tools you already use
DevGob does not replace your Git hosting or your CI/CD engine. It connects to them, shows their state on each work item and governs the decision to move a change forward. Today the integration is with GitHub; Azure DevOps and GitLab are on the roadmap.
How DevGob helps
DevGob plans the work and governs every change on its way to production, on one record per change: the requirement it came from, its code, its tests, its approvals and its install evidence.
Read it in the documentationFrequently asked questions
Is DevGob a CI/CD tool?
No. DevGob does not build or deploy code. It links the CI runs, pull requests and releases of your pipeline to each change and governs the approvals around them.
Can a small team use it?
Yes. The Community plan is free for up to 5 users and includes backlog, boards and sprints; deployment governance starts with the Professional plan.
Does it support Scrum and Kanban?
Yes: backlog, sprint planning with capacity, Kanban boards and a taskboard, with workflows configured by each organization.
