Metrics that come from the work itself
The best metrics are the ones nobody has to type in. When every change goes through the same flow, its dates, results and rollbacks are already recorded — the metrics are a by-product of doing the work.
Delivery and stability
- Deployment success rate: changes completed without a production rollback.
- Cycle time from the end of development to production, average and 80th percentile.
- Test pass rate across environments.
- A weekly trend for each of them.
Flow and planning
- A cumulative flow diagram per project.
- Time in state, to find where work gets stuck.
- Velocity, burndown and burnup per team and sprint.
- Estimated versus actual hours.
- On-time delivery: committed versus actual dates for every milestone.
- Rework: how many times a change went back a phase.
What DevGob does not measure
Time to restore service depends on your monitoring and incident tools, so DevGob does not compute it. Its deployment records give you the dates to count deployment frequency; for the full DORA picture, combine them with your incident data.
How DevGob helps
DevGob's metrics are calculated from the records of each change, so they never depend on someone updating a spreadsheet.

Does DevGob calculate the DORA metrics?
In part: it measures deployment success (the inverse of the change failure rate) and the cycle time from development to production. Time to restore service comes from your monitoring tools.
Are the charts calculated live?
They are calculated from the current data each time a report opens and drawn on the server, with nothing to install.
Can I export the data?
Yes, report tables export to CSV.
